On The Road To Divorce?

Are You Or Somebody You Know Considering Divorce?

If you have found yourself to this page, then you or someone you know is probably thinking of divorce or separation. So, I am glad that you are here.

While I recognize that not every marriage can be saved, I believe that a great many can be. Therefore, it is important to fully explore if a marriage can be saved before any serious actions are taken. Statistics vary somewhat but research is clear that up to 50% of divorced folks regret getting divorced. And that number goes higher when divorced people are asked if they regret not trying harder to save their marriage. That is a lot of regret.

Media and even some well-meaning friends, and family may make it seems like a divorce is the best option. But, as a licensed marriage and family therapist I can say that divorce often does not produce the intended results. The pain does not stop it just substitutes it for another scenario. There are many common questions that people have when considering divorce and/or discernment counseling. Five of the most common questions that I answer in the free report are:

  • What is Discernment Counseling? And how does it differ from couple’s counseling?
  • Is Discernment Counseling Right for Me?
  • What Should I Expect if I try Discernment Counseling?
  • Does discernment counseling try to talk us into or out of a divorce?
  • How Long Does Discernment Counseling Take? And how much does it cost?
  • What happens after discernment counseling?

I answer these common questions and many others in this free detailed report. This report is free because I have witnessed the difference between people that have used discernment counseling and those that have not. This difference can be dramatic. So, I want to help you consider your options before making a life changing decision like divorce.

Regardless if you decide to work on your marriage or end it, the discernment process helps you learn about yourself. And that is a good thing if your marriage is in trouble. I hope you find value in the information in this free report and that it answers your basic questions about discernment counseling and how it can help you to decide to dissolve, delay or repair a distressed marriage.
